I was reading The Wind-up Bird Chronicle When something pulled me from my reading room Out into the Light. Staring the Sphere of Horizon Face to Face I saw incalculable economic wealth giving wings To a steely insect climbing a white-blotched mountain bathed in azure Stratosphere curving over me Like Every-one-of-My-Moments Time-Eternal Falling from gravity. Temporarily Soon I found my bearings Staring At this Miracle. And let a lost Winged-One Surrender to the Winds. |

I intentionally started this with pashctisse, like The Wind-up bird and Tuesday Women (Murakami) And the starting lines of Bird Chronicle "I was cooking spaghetti when phone rang) but then the poem got wings of its own... |

A poem has a propensity to slip away from its creator's grasp. Hold on too tightly and you strangle it. Good to see you letting go. Welcome to this place. ~glider~ |

Thank you for this interesting write, and referencing Murakami's Wind up Bird Chronicles! I have listened to Aeroplane's theme recording, but have not yet read the books. WELCOME! |
