At the Crossroads of Infinity

Everything is in a muddle
None of the pieces fit
Life is like a jigsaw puzzle
And I can't get the hang of it

I've tried sticking to the straight edges
Even started in the middle
But still I cannot figure out
The answer to this riddle

I'm running out of ideas
I don't know what to do
Is anybody out there
That can give me a clue ?

I won't give up I'll not be beat
And I am not prepared to cheat
This time there is no solution
Hidden at the back of the book

But I must confess
As you've probably guessed
I had a little look !

That is the trouble with The Bible
It is only intended as a guide
And I cannot find the answers
No matter how hard I've tried

But one thing I did discover
The obligatory twist
Guidance I will not uncover
For I am an Athiest.......
