The sea rolls her waves to the lazy shore stuck in a dip of design lethargy that creates by omission a dark deadly pall over the landscape of sea’s many dreams. She loads the shore with dream memories and watches them sink out of sight but always more from the hidden depths try again to make an impression. Sometimes the force of prevailing conditions unlatches the sea’s love powerhouse and she creates dreams according to need that slice into the intractable shore. I’ve seen the dent and depressions left in those times of unleashed elegance but life in the manner of bestial things patches, repairs, and hides everything. The sea rolls her waves to the lazy shore; maybe one day she’ll simply stop! Helen / 2 October 2007 www.dreamtimepoetry.com |

"Sometimes the force of prevailing conditions unlatches the sea’s love powerhouse and she creates dreams according to need that slice into the intractable shore." You're back! Great write Helen. Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor. |

A fine 'write'! I LOVE: “The sea rolls her waves to the lazy shore stuck in a dip of ‘design lethargy’(!)”; “intractable shore”; AND (especially): “unleashed elegance” Applause!! |

Great write Helen. It sounded to me as if you were sitting on the shore at Durban, a beautiful place. much enjoyed. Lindsay |

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Much appreciated. Not back yet, JL, and Lindsay, no, I'm sitting on the beach at a place called Port Elizabeth but it was a good guess. Bruce - Thank you! LeeJ - Sometimes you actually tell me what the message is. |
