As sunshine filters through the shades I rise to meet the day Trying to forget the dreams I fought to chase away Though the daylight hours seem to drag Night soon begins to fall And I find myself alone again Facing midnights call With no one laying at my side To keep the fears at bay Or in whom I can confide Why did you go away? No one ever told me The pain would be this bad But the thought that somebody else is loving you Is what makes me really sad Are you still frightened of the thunder And to sleep without the light Do you think of me I wonder Now you have his arms to hold you tight? My soul is torn wide open My world is ripped apart All of my dreams lie broken Beside my aching heart.... |

Thanks Margherita, as an eternal optomist I also believe that love will continue to shine through, I have healed and will no doubt suffer damage again in the future but I really believe it is the daily trials we endure which sparks our creativity.... |
