Left to ponder like starshine on muddled water, the premature frost and daisies discarded too soon from the cradle's vase, left to ponder the heart that bloomed now flatlines, is there salvation or point to such brevity as goodbyes line the drying greenery with spring's crumpled petals, left to soften the fall. Your poetry always provides points to ponder. "the heart that bloomed now flatlines," ~ I could feel that! ~ and it aches! "was there salvation or point to such brevity" ~ There is always a "point" to our experiences. We just don't always see it! You truly are a 'goddessa poetessa'. "as goodbyes line the drying greenery with springcolored petals as if to soften the fall." ~ Yeppers! A goddessa poetessa! Sending a loving, compassionate hug your way! May the autumn bring with it, inner peace and love your way, Linda |

Hi inkedgoddess, Left to ponder, of what – life? Meaning, struggling through making sense of puzzles that don’t fit: maybe the answer does not lie in piecing these square cardboards together, and faith with its’ illogical tendencies takes away that frown on face of idealism, and where did that come from? I think this vodka down my tummy is going to feel good! |
