Magical Emerald Once upon a time, Necklaces were made in several Golds, silvers, and copper until A girl came upon the magical emerald. The bright green gem Brought beauty to her eye, As she walked outside And flew to the sky so high. How can this be? This is just a gem! If anyone finds out There'll be mayhem. As she landed soft, A voice did cackle. It laughed and said, "Give it back! That is my magical emerald!" The young girl did not budge, For she knew she was evil. She held the gem tight, The light beamed like an angel. "Hurray! The witch is gone! Let's all celebrate! But still, who knows what the emerald can do!" The girl did not know what would await. Years went by, And not a witch in sight. She had what she wanted No struggle, no fight. The girl finally knew What the sparkly gem did She kept it to herself And left it, forbid. Still to this day, The mystery goes on. Emerald gem dissapered, It was very long gone. Once upon a time, Necklaces were made in several Golds, silvers, and copper until A girl came upon, the magical emerald. [This message has been edited by Artic Wind (09-29-2007 10:36 AM).] |

Arctic Wind, your poetry is full of magic! ~ and I love magical things. I have an emerald ring that I treasure ~ and it too, is full of magic. Whenever I wear it, I become a bonnie lass dancing in fields of clover on the Emerald Isle. You're a gem! ![]() Loving hugs 'n smiles, Earth Angel |
