Changes Upon Changes When wind is in the linden trees And wings are on the rise When coldness spears the dawn And vibrant colors streak the skies It is time to think ahead, my friend, Of what the day will bring It is not the same old melody The morning sparrows sing The hour glass sands are turning And a season’s being born There are changes upon changes In the garment you have worn So shed your summer greenery Don multi colored cloaks Let my window frame the splendor Of the sprawling golden oaks In the reverie of autumn As my lungs embrace the cold For those wild impending blizzards Let me brace my autumn soul Elizabeth Santos |

So many descriptions of Autumn, but I still loved this one. Full of beauty. Pops |
