            Time’s Mirror

A soft Summer sunset
tills the clouds and sows fine dreams
with countless images rising…
through the gentle-violet twilight
born on a butterfly wind,
‘till the ebony-cloak of evening
hangs on the cusp of a clear-blue
   crescent moon,
floating forever in the endless void
   of universal truth;
and world-paint flows from poet-pens
like an enchanted river with mystic
  clarity,
distilled from the essence of Time’s
  magic mirror.

Wonderful, Poet !!

I especially enjoy the images presented in the 2nd line that cause one to think outside the box, miles above your head... instead of sowing in the earth, there is sowing in the clouds. They really pull the reader in.

Lots of other marvelous images here as well: "butterfly wind", "cusp of a clear-blue crescent moon."  "and world-paint flows from poet-pens like an enchanted river with mystic clarity,"  Very fine...

But I am especially drawn to the opening three lines, and keep returning to them. And re-reading and re-reading this poem is such a pleasure.
