caroling midnight aestheticism
without the paper rolls
to decorate a mundane highway

some afternoons after twenty hundred
just reading the graffiti there
on the boredom of an overpass

watching my cohiba's drifting dance
as it makes new meanings
wordwizz echoing perhaps in bawdy

but not in body of hollow spirits
more the lovely of a woman's scent
lingering on the sky's ankles

as I search for heaven in her ravens

scribblenote: lest I be tested for prozac again...it is a still life of a overpass on 101 at the beach...a stogie and some jack dan, listening to the ravens lie to the tagger crews..almost rockwellish with a bit of newman..the image, not the pen.
