Retroactive Somewhere inside hides the meaning of my life, where belief held its own and each breath claimed adventure. Somewhere inside, I counted. I meant something to someone and could spell out the feelings with each beat of my heart. I remember those sunsets, the seamless words of love, the moment to moment excitement of embracing the pureness of life. But for now, the masquerade has begun. I rein in the dark until I am in a better place and can feel the comfort of a sunrise to warm what feels only the cold. Somewhere inside, are the lyrics to a new tune, holding onto hope. Each note to lift in song and truth, yet forever lined with the old ...to remind me of then. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

An (obviously) heartfelt and especially powerful, emotive ‘write’! “The following is exceptionally fine!: “Somewhere inside hides the meaning of my life, where belief held its own and each breath claimed adventure(!)”; And, so is: “…sunsets, the seamless words of love, the moment to moment excitement of embracing the pureness of life(!)”; As well as the ending: “Somewhere inside, are the lyrics to a new tune, holding onto hope. Each note to lift in song and truth, yet forever lined with the old ...to remind me of then(!)” serious, sustained applause!! |

Marge, Thank you for the visit. I always appreciate your thoughts. Sue, Thank you. I hope you feel better and have a nice restful weekend. hugs M Bruce, I am wondering whether this is the field I want to be in, considering this last experience showed me how little some administrations care whether their children in the schools learn or not. It seems my positive perspective on life may be too idealistic( like when I was young). I needed a week to recover from it all and hopefully today will be a better day. Thanks, Maureen |

"Somewhere inside, are the lyrics to a new tune, holding onto hope. Each note to lift in song and truth, yet forever lined with the old ...to remind me of then." Love this write, especially the last verse. JL Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor. |
