Release of The Mark of The Beast First they put the potion in the meats we humans eat and as I ate I felt my common sense hesitate, so I became a vegetarian. Next they put the potion in the vegetables we eat and as I ate my mental reasoning was lost in the seasoning, so I switched to fruit. Next they placed the potion in the fruit and while I ate an apple, I felt my morality slipping away, so I ate my last piece of fruit that day, and as my body wasted away, my mind was clear as a bell. I understood the truth that day, my Earth had turned into Hell. Upon the morning of my mourning all the inhabitants could hear what appeared to be angels singing. In truth, it was the messangers of Satan giving forth a chilling proclamation. "Fear one, fear all, be ye bold or meek, this is the day of the release of the mark of the beast." JamesLee 11Septembre 2007 "And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads. And that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom, let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666...Revelations13:16to18. |

Quite an intresting poem, all that is wrong is intwined with the book of revelation and it predicts all, my reading of it anyway. I thought it read well, we can all but blame ourselves for the causes and effect of being. Enjoyed very much, a good read. |

Nice is your poem, but it is not what I really believe in. It is not the choice of others whether we give up humanity or keep it. It is our own choice and we alone can take of our own mask. That is what hearts and brains are for I believe. As for earth being hell, It has always been through fires and tragedies. We only notice it when it is in some way realted to us... or so I believe. Over all, I like the poem. Nice writing. Tears of Sanity~ |
