Far from the beginning, Not yet nearing to the end, Endless is the journey, On its path to ever wend. Sometimes the way is crooked, The way is sometimes straight, But always there are stones afoot, To slow a traveler's gait. Above the sun shines brightly, Relentless in its sear, While on the far horizon, Vespertine is never near. It is said the moon is waiting, To glow on earth below, I fear that there are answers, That I shall never know. |
