Her Pose Serene

I viewed a photo
of a woman
holding a pose
that drew me in.
Her pose serene,
looking down and away
as if pondering
the essence of her day.
I thought of
all the blessings
I've received before.
I thoughts of waves
washing into shore.
I thought of women
I've grown to adore.
I wish to know
her more.
