We are not bound by yesterday
for it does not hold us;

tomorrow is ours for the taking.

The simple actions of today
can either become a past mistake
or a journey that will take us
into the dawn of a new day

a new life

a new way;

It is, in certainty

a truth

that only self can embrace
while facing the mundane
of day to day.

The power lies within our own hands
it is ours alone to command
in realizing that man is not to blame

if there is shame
it is ours individually to claim.

Destiny is held within our palms
sing your own song

let your voice be strong
while traveling along

the highways
and byways

of life.

I am glad you found something in this m'friend. And I, for some reason needed to write it today. The muse, moves in mysterious ways sometimes unknown to us. I've learned not to fight it, but just to write it....what ever it may be. Hugs to you too, lovie.
