a certain perfect disarray (repost for Caroline, the warmest ice queen ever) |

Apple-mint sprigs, tiny leaves unfold to sun in ancient prayer-- (supplication...) Ever strives to meet perfection... (daily dedication...) Lemon tree in bloom this year. How perfectly ironic. Blossoms fall--lemon drops-- Heady scent--seductive tonic-- a certain perfect disarray... think i'll let it stay that way... (Some things should be just what they are.) Broad-leaf fern, pine-apple sage, rose-in-bud, "Society's Page," (she used to be all the rage.) spears of iris by the pond and just the slightest curve of palm behind the waterfall-- White ginger standing tall... and pots of basil hunger for planting bringing out an ache in me-- ever wistful--ever wanting-- a shovel full of upturned earth droplets of rain, quenching thirst. "Gentle hands are needed here," said the breeze into my ear. "Ssshh..." It whispered me aware. |

Ok now I am the one crying here... This is incredibly beautiful, and this - a certain perfect disarray... think i'll let it stay that way... (Some things should be just what they are.) describes it most perfectly. We have been friends a short time, but somehow I feel that it has been so much longer, as though you have always been here with me. You know my heart already Thank you so much. I will keep and treasure this always. {{{Hugs}}] Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. - Persian Proverb edited for typos lol |

I don't know that I've seen this before, serenity, so I'm glad you found a very special person to bring it back for. Thanks, Caroline! |

Kari? Yer kiddin' me, right? /pip/Forum29/HTML/001669.html I reposted it elsewhere, a few times--it's one of the few poems I've written I like. It reminds me of a way I usedta be, yanno? I was "serenity" before I ever came here. But yep, this my homage to the Garden that I kept once. (Or perhaps it kept me?) And oh I cheered each seedling on, too! Love to all. and hey? I am in love with this young lady--and you'll need sound--but even if you don't have it? She is a joy to watch, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9f1fyuN5dXI I really want to find the part of me that connects with her...smile Just a present from me to you all. |

I am glad this came back as I got a chance to remember how bad I was in high school once more. It's bad when your memory comes from someone having to remind you darn it. Anyway, love this one and glad to read it again. Also Mary Anne is my favorite too! She is as cute as anything, on YouTube, but here is a quicker link to all her performances for you to see, and my favorite is "I Have A Right to Sing The Blues." Enjoy! Just click a picture on the right, or a song on the left you like. If at YouTube remember to rank her, so she rises to the top won't you? Mary Anne aka ysabellebrave |

You have a wonderful way with semantics. I experienced several aromatic sensations whilst reading this poem !! It's also very feminine. I don't think a man could have written it if he'd tried! Just lovely. The greatest thing you can do for another is not just to share your own riches...but to reveal to him his own. |
