And Nothing Gold... In those days of my youth I was dying but blind to truth I kept denying that those times would end the love will stay I knew they were only words now we strain to say. I was always good at putting my finger up to the sun closing my strong eye with the intention to shun the inevitable break in the cycle, and growing old the love will stay but as Robert Frost once told... (in sort of a round-about way) love, indeed, is as gold and nothing gold can stay. |

That is my favorite poem by Frost... And as dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay Beautifully written, as your poetry always is. I will say that your poetry IS gold and will stay, in spite of Mr. Frost - he didn't know you. Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |
