Ochroid dawns the day, white, wind wafted blossom, soft like your face, lightly bold, as your heart. Marmoreal your skin, scented like twining dog rose. Smoothing spinning fingers across wrists, arms and neck. Eyes dark as shaded forests, sparked by shimmering limpid pools, sun spangled golden, like amber pebbles, dropped for rippling shockwaves. Hands that hold, pull closer, to heart upon heart, pulsing like waves upon shoreline, washing gently to sea, from one source. At the touch of love, everyone becomes poets. Plato 427 BC-348. |

Well if this lovely poem doesn't put an added smile in Bea's heart, then I will be mightily surprised! Phil, I have been missing your poetry. Reading it always touches me in some manner or another. Linda |
