The sigh of soul so loosely hangs beneath Love’s luster of her charms divinely placed, And grants to her beloved one bequeathed A passage rite bestowed by gift of grace. What gift this is to open wide the gate Of sheer delight to soul’s enchanted eye As lovers bid their close encounter’s fate And summon ecstasy as nature’s high. The meld of minds in rapture rare between The souls of twain when locks were frayed undone By time and space and lovers’ hearts un-keyed Their bliss abounds in kisses deeply shown As sacred signets seal beneath their hearts To lock the love within that God alone imparts. |
