I think I posted this before. It's a edited version Some men are born to hate, For hatreds all they knew, They hate all different races, Be they black or wops or Jew. And these lost and foolish souls, Could be your doctor, lawyer, brother, But their common bond remains, They simply hate each other. Seems Racism always starts, In the hearts of ignorant men, Who wont look below the surface, All they see is colored skin. So regardless of these people, To God, we are as one, We live and die like mortals, Death stealing father and his son. All we need is friendship, Tolerance, love and touch, you'll find that colored skin, Doesnt matter all that much. So dont judge your fellow man, By the pigments they contain, Admire character, deeds and friendship, Then all colors will seem the same. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |
