More Or Less I hate this feeling of coming home to this deafening echo of loneliness and this spinning out of control that where the only voices heard is the radio I just don’t know where it is I stand and vision is as clear as oil on the lens can life be lived as Joni Mitchell’s cactus tree so full yet so empty where there is more of less to less of more “all romantics meet the same fate”…Joni Mitchell |

They will lose her if they follow And she only means to please them And her heart is full and hollow Like a cactus tree While she's so busy being free Nothing can fill a space up more than something, especially loneliness. I used to hear her sing that song, and knew her reason for writing it. I also knew the message would last longer than time itself. Poignant and so heartfelt Helen. |
