No alarm it's only a *bleeping* poem words in staccato prance-stance marching the dark cadence blaring too loud broadcast in now fade out static thoughts word promenade in charade turnabout turnabout no need to shout it's only a *bleeping* poem ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

bleep- n. A brief high-pitched sound, as from an electronic device. -------------------------------------------- Actually, it came about as I am right now with my youngest grandie girlie ... we had something going in the microwave ... we were off reading poetry in another room and when she heard the buzzer ... she said, "What's that bleeping, Poet?" Laughingly I said, "It's only a bleeping poem." ... so there it came~ Just a cute little poetic play on her mispronunciation of beeping~  ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
