I've outgrown friends and lovers, regular coffee and faded jeans, pool tables and Miller Lite, and all the players behind the scenes. I tend to hang with the center-stage crowd my coffee is nothing but gourmet, my friends have titles, lovers have style, and I really like it this way. I wear only designer clothes from those fancy department stores that I once turned my nose up to but now it's seeped into my pores. The high life... fine wine and intelligent talk. Sadly, there's no place here for those who can't walk the walk. And there were plenty I left behind. [This message has been edited by passing shadows (02-04-2007 01:09 AM).] |
