will i ever be as good as i practice

will i ever play in a neighborhood where  i'm the #1 cactus

                on her block

will i ever hit a clutch shot at the end of our 24 second shot clock

will i ever leave my opponents in shock

because of the way i handle her rock

will she ever let the "tic tocks"

                     go by

while we conversate until daybreak is nigh

will we ever go to Applebee's and share that long awaited pecan pie

but most of all will i ever be a guy

                 she respects
