. How light the snow That dances round The nimbused streetlamp Just outside Each flake of water Briefly formed In their moment beautiful Before they go to ground No love That’s worthy of the term Is not touched with sadness At its core How good it is To stand in silence Watching them Without someone Who wouldn’t care . |

How beautiful this is.... and I, too, like the last stanza: How good it is To stand in silence Watching them Without someone Who wouldn’t care Yes.. to watch this with another, they must feel it, and be amazed with me, or leave me to take it all in alone. You write beautifully! Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |

Caroline, Thank you Yet your praise leaves me sad. It's as if we were criminals, that each poet should be so alone . . . John |

ummm, to be embraced by warmth would destroy them... and yet lead to another life. Enjoyed the read, John. Thank you. |

Nice write. Love that last verse. JL Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. ~Jesus Christ |
