Watching You With My Eyes Closed Might I have fallen from such great heights Concussion of the heart, weeps red Images of deep sea green play a haunting song Within my mind, that I am swept there with the tide Not to drown, but to be weightless and refreshed Serenity is a priceless treasure, conjured in character Of Isis, riding bareback in the wind, my dreams come Laying on the fire of the sands, playing catch with the stars An original, in all details of soft white sun and gentle rain That you remain, the secret of my soul Predicts a future path, where we meet in gaze and melt For time again, closer still, we call by heart to each other Adored, you are adored. Nothing could change that in my eyes All that I want for you, I want for myself because of you My mouth still moves to insatiable need, sensing by a plead Tugs upon the happy vision, where once stream met stone And chilled clear water rose, astonished breaths to peak, wanting When my mind, merely by scent, explored your flanks glistening A journey I would make again, and again I am not lost, though I would not hold your hand and not your heart Laying roses on your bed, making love games to be read, affection said Releasing what the past left sharply and giving my gold for your shield My love is true, and all the more discovery reflectively Each day I pray, watching you with my eyes closed Copyright Kkh 1/23/07 |
