My Greatest Wish

Is it too much to ask for
Someone to grow old with
To have that special one
Is my greatest wish

Someone with whom to share
This heart so full of love
One who will hold me close
When life just seems too tough

One who will always be there
To take away those fears
That sometimes comes to haunt me
Day after day, year after year

The burdons often seem too many
For me to conquer on my own
It wouldn't seem so bad, I think
If I didn't have to do it all alone

Even when the world comes
Tumbling down on you
It doesn't seem so bad, when
There is someone else there too

Oh, Sue, this is sweet and sad.  I just read one in Spiritual about my Best Friend.  There were times when my 5 children were still at home as well as my husband, but I felt so very all alone and very lonely.  Guess it was Jesus calling me, but I didn't know that for years.  Now I talk to Him about my problems, joys or anything else I happen to be feeling.
