Forever And A Day By Paul Wilson If I gave you tomorrow would you let it slip away If I gave you my heart would you cherish it forever and a day If I promised all your wishes would come true would you save them in your heart like lovers do If I make you cry from time to time would you forgive me…like I forgive you If love is measured in time there’s not enough hours in the day to measure mine If tomorrow never comes will you know my love these words could never define Sleep my love in restful peace dream your dreams of better days Call my name in your slumber touch me and I appear from the haze Morning Glories welcome you in rise my heart skips a beat when you walk into the room Four O’clocks track the evening sun from the front porch I smell your sweet perfume If I gave you tomorrow would you let it slip away If I gave you my heart would you cherish it forever and a day I love you with all my heart by your side I will always stay I promise to love you Forever and a day ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Morning Glories welcome you in rise my heart skips a beat when you walk into the room Four O’clocks track the evening sun from the front porch I smell your sweet perfume loved this entire poem, and especially this part, as I could catch the scent of flowers and perfume....lovely write..loving and gentle... |

“If I make you cry from time to time would you forgive me…like I forgive you” Excellent write Paul. These two lines say a lot. I do enjoy your poetry. JL What I used to do with one hand tied behind my back now requires every muscle in my body, cohesively. |
