Gift of the Morning

Stardust falls as if delicate snow pieces
Dusting my mind with black and white etchings

Stark shadows dance within heart light’s glow
Composing magical melodies to linger in an echo
Of shared thoughts falling like pieces of

stardust

Press hand to heart and follow its lilting tune
Let it carry you to my poetry and allow it to meld
In the golden morning of my today
