Today I am what I’ve become
What years and time have made
Different yes and only one
From cast that God had laid

A working man of little pay
Wearing mask to hide within
I wonder often where I stay
At times I dream to sin

Loving; kind and patient too
If not, I’d long be mad
Sharing all the truths with you
And often very sad

I am what life has made of me
Unsure and worried soul
In ponder what each day will be
And wanting to be whole

Im just so impressed with your writing Rick...always so much to ponder and I like the fact that at times your really putting it out there...intimate thoughts and feelings...our lives are what we made them right? and God did cast us i believe that...Are we what he planned for us to be? are we what we planned for us to be?

Hi Mark, great to get this reply off you, thank you so much for your comments, I write how I feel and now do not worry too much about having it out there, I believe we are all as one, if I think of something in some way, so will someone else who reads my work, I do enjoy the complements but mainly that you take the time to read and visit, thanks for that Mark, appreciated.
