off the 33 side of good morning down to the tan man place where the gulls play darts with silver mouthfuls and a black dog digs for his mind my cowboy sandals are friendly making toe stories in the warm walking is beneath me usually but today it is just my shadow that looks up to me as a god there is a tree out there on dawn can see her from every morning window when she bathes in the june gloom and leaves her nude side damp when she slow dances with ol' breezy and puts eucalyptus smells on my shirt then makes me run along lonely howling with the dogs something about satiation and satan the wanna haves and the keep aways that keeps old men young man crazy __________ daark |
