Its an old poem i wrote almost 2 years ago and my g/f left me so its about her pretty much. thanks for reading i would love comments.

Eternal Sleep

The lights go low as im the only one left in this room
A ceiling light turns on above me and lets me know im here alone
As i lay down in this circle of light the room starts to spin
As i slowly drift off to eternal sleep your there holding my hand
letting me know im not here alone
As i open my eyes there you are smiling above me with your long hair in my eyes
You tell me things will be ok im here now
I can't help but wonder
Wonder if this is just a dream of eternal sleep
My tears trace the outer layers of my skin down to the floor as i lay motionless in your arms
Don't tell me im dreaming
Don't tell me your fake and just in my mind
you bend down and kiss my lips buy yet i didn't feel a thing
As i try to pull you close my arms go right through
Go right through what i thought was comfort
What i thought was real
As i hit the floor your gone once again
The ceiling light goes dim and i close my eyes
I'll dream this dream for eternity
A dreamers dream of eternal sleep
