Eve didn't like watching the waterfront anymore it used to be an “eyesoar” but without Howard's store filling her memorys with lore she couldn't bear to look at the score happy tourists of all ages walking across the new floors everyday from her apartment across the street she'd watch people pass the through the new Walgreen doors and she ached for Howard more and more why didn't she give him the rapport he needed she could have conceded but the more he implored the more she ignored his décor he left her defeated was it too late to adore? silently she dreamed but her heart screamed for justice love, eve |
