There’s a place way in the distant
The fate of you and I
It’s bright and it has pearly gates
To enter when we die

This place, it does not summon us
Or ask for us to run
It waits with all our parted friends
For when our lives are done

It is a place that’s found through faith
Believed to hold all truth
A place where no one’s ever ill
Where once again there’s youth

Where friends and loved oncs greet us
Where love, it speaks and sings
A place of light and calling bliss
And angels who have wings

In life we hope for miracles
We pray and search each day
That fate will treat us fair and kind
And luck will come our way

But we just find it marches on
Takes rough roads and the smooth
And find that there’s not much we’d change
Or much we’d need to prove

And we’d be grateful for the gift
That helps us day and night
That lets us all believe in end
We’ll walk within the light

And just as if they’d always been
Our friends and family passed
Would be there and would take us in
And make that moment last

im really impressed with your writing...this is really good and its inspiring and hopeful and reminds us of our great hope that someday we will find that better place when this life has passed and to find again that loved one so many need to find again and live in God's peace for always...always...thx Rick and God bless u
