Artisan In A Japanese Garden Paths carry on Past nightingale songs Recharging the electric circuits Of a failing sun That fine and noble one Drawn through a needles eye – inspiration Movement of a dragonfly Disturbs an otherwise perfect silence Just meek minded squirrels Attempt to make sense Of low, elongated dreams With precision, The flowering patience of turpentine limbs Brush the fallow of yesterday’s buds Still scent sweet, their memory A notebook bears witness to my views Hopes and platitudes Those cast off, or trimmed Bonsai to hold reality in sight Among watch tower chimes Half-past an hour, With exotic relevance Would I stay here? Thrive here, among the perfect perceptions Of another’s heart Watching with that same flutter That called to me in dwarf of higher reason Open my chest to the wonder Of another soul Still speaking with enchantment First to be seen here In the jade spirit fountain Copyright Kkh 3/25/07 |

"Movement of a dragonfly Disturbs an otherwise perfect silence" Amazing isn't it, how such a delicate sound can be heard while sitting in silent meditation beneath smiling skies and a graceful bonsai. |

fine, most pleasant ‘write’! I absolutely LOVE: “Movement of….dragon(ies) Disturb(ing)….otherwise perfect silence(!)” and “…the jade spirit fountain” as well as: “Paths carry(ing) on Past nightingale songs Recharging……circuits Of a failing sun(!)” Applause!! |
