You disappeared, I went looking for you, just like a magic act, but you never came back. Within my search, I found a treasure, hidden words, full of love, Written in stone, like water for my soul, reading them, only made me thirst for more. I thought you were gone, forever, never to be seen, but you were there all along, thousands of footprints, Left for me, like little, pieces of crackers, a trail that leds, to your heart. You are here with me, hidden, but alive, inside the forest of poetry, you live, Anytime, anyday, I can visit you, our memories, My smile beams, happiness flows, knowing your soul, breathes, Knowing you loved me, knowing you still do. your words tell me so. |
