Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2007-06-22 11:23 PM

As I sit alone,
perched high upon,
pine branches,
forceful winds blow,
through my feathers.

The darkness,
the stillness of night,
calls in silence,
your name.

High above the world,
but lowly in spirit,
I quietly rest,
burrowing, an
empty heart.

Night eyes are dark,
seeing visions,
of yesterdays happiness,
hope of tomorrows
yet to be's,

Silly, lonely owl,
wise is not my cup of tea,
wisdom would be,
you cuddled next me.

So I rest, alone,
wrapped in the cloak,
of eternal darkness,
where a heart beats not.

Beautiful pictures and this:

"Night eyes are dark,
seeing visions,
of yesterdays happiness,
hope of tomorrows
yet to be's,"

makes one know that owls and humans are pretty much the same.

Reminds me of soemthing I wrote once about an owl and a clown. It needs to be rewritten, I'll have to work on it and post it!!! I really like this one. Take Care, JulieAnn
