Walking in the Rain I heard the thunder rumblin in the south Saw the lightning flash outside my window pane I felt the pull of the rain in my soul I had to walk in the rain. It’s been raining in my heart, you know I can’t think of a good reason for it though If I can walk in the rain, maybe it’ll wash away I can’t hide these shades of blue and gray. I felt the rain upon my aching skin I felt a peace from deep within Walking in the rain had made me whole again The gentle rain has washed away this pain as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |

I can't remember who wrote it but I read a quote once that goes like this; "It's as if raindrops were falling on my soul from the very hand of God." I have been there and those words helped me alot. This is beautiful. Take Care, JulieAnn ~~~kingsangel~~~ |

I could most assuredly identify with this poem. I, too, walk in the rain to wash away pains and negativity and to clear my mind. I think you did a marvelous job of illustrating that. \\ Thanks! I needed that! ~ and I didn't even have to leave the house! lol Loving Light, EA |

there is a calm in the calamity of rain...like being washed by it, cleans the soul and leaves nothing but true thoughts... |
