 Artist: Dynamic Graphics Peoples Fighting Peoples ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ In the annals of Man’s history, Are gross accounts of insurrections. ~ Peoples fighting peoples, Who had lost their God connections. In present times ~ as in the past, Crusades are waging on. With swords of mass destruction, The battle lines are drawn. These risings only lead to falls, For each is a calamity. No one can ever truly win, If they lose their humanity. “The time has come for man to lay down his arms, and pick up each other.” ~ Linda L. The only difference from now and the second and third century are just as you have so aptly stated. More humans can be killed with fewer weapons. JL  What I used to do with one hand tied behind my back now requires every muscle in my body, cohesively. |

Coercing people to hold any single religious view necessarily negates those of all others, putting up barriers between people. Only when we perceive others as having MORE in common rather than LESS in common can we hope to find the path to peace.  good to read you, EA |

 (sad sigh) Oh Linda, these crusades of all sorts continue to clash on, and I continue to sadly shake my head and wonder why, when it has been proven after hundreds of wars and thousands of melees that they haven't resolved continuing issues and have established peace between populaces, why do so many continue to resort to such inhumanity? (sad sigh) I just can't accept any excuse for war, as the term "war rationale" is at the least a humanist oxymoron, and at the worst an utter felony to all humanity, God Bless You for writing this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!  May love and light always shine upon you!
