Hers

When I write of love
I write of a woman that
I've known for a
long period of time.
A woman so special
I wish her to be mine.

Sometimes I write of her
as if we just met.
Sometimes I write of her
as if seasoned lovers
in joy or regret.

Still within the theme
of every line
I wish to be hers
and I wish her
to be mine.

Intricate in getting the view across. Vivid in such romance.
