If I were breathing poisoned gas
I think that you'd want some of that--
if I were diagnosed diseased--
you'd become sicker than me.
And should I win the lottery
I do believe you'd die of grief.
It's not enough to have the most
you need to have it all and boast
of too much butter on your toast--


and so I gave myself away
so that I could say one day
that there was nothing left of me--
to leave you restless with your greed
to keep you company...

I know this to a lessor extent. But regardless, I know...they would suck you dry and blame you for dying.
