Light sparkles
On water ripples

Dragonflies
Hover over lily pads
A trout jumps up
Then disappears

A small white house
With a picket fence
Two blue eyed kittens
In the yard

The cardinal sings
A tune for her
A cool northern wind
Playing reeds
