To touch a Butterfly

We often hover o’er our dreams
To touch a sate among the themes
To agitate a state of spur
To extricate a state of purr

We often glance among the trees
To see the way of honey bees
Dip into a phantoms pleasure
Taste the honey of its treasure

We swing and sway the shadows stay
Articulate a certain day
A moment close to ecstasy
A safety box of treasury

And here among our ego’s notch
As warming as a shot of scotch
We warm the inners of our heart
By sipping of the past depart

Withdrawal for a rainy day
From something we have put away

Beautiful and !!!!!

Read many times and this is
my understanding if not have a mis-in front

The dreams are not common dreams
The themes are every day’s themes
The spur is spur of the past
The purr is the purr of memory

The trees are the  spring trees
The bees are the  dancing bees
a phantoms pleasure is the dreamed pleasure
the treasure is the sweetly leisured  treasure

Yesterday’s story stays
In a concentrated  juicy  day
in a long missed ecstasy
in a deeply buried treasury

To boost  up  ego a notch
In a shot of aged scotch
To bring back the drunken heart
The Past  turned against  depart

In  sacred  place in a sunny  day
To have the honey preserved memory stored away

Have a wonderful night and a great weekend, Sir Tabin.

You know I have never held a butterfly long enough to examine it, would my touch be enough to destroy it?
All I know about bees is they make honey and stay about fifty miles away from them

Well now, I'm tucking this away in my treasure box. No rainy day needed here to enjoy a poem from you, Sy. Lovely rhyme and meter as always!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit
