Beyond the grasp of imagination
is he. I conjure him when my mind flees
the mundane routine of my existence.
Pulse throbbing, mind racing, blood igniting
humid heat among satiated cries;
soothing primal needs. It’s a woman thing.

Reason flying aloft into fragrant
winds. Beyond today into tomorrow.
