blades of grass flatten beneath our feet as we walk hand in hand down the road of cliches and promised tomorrows The future so bright in your eyes as I cry and laugh I bathe beneath your smile as "I love you" falls from your mouth I catch it on my tongue savoring your taste I've never been in a real relationship before I have to pinch myself everytime you look into my eyes and tell you to remind me that I do deserve you It's weird yet comforting to know that I know that you know it's just right and meant to be despite my weird insecurities I don't believe in Prince Charming But I do believe in living happily ever after with you... If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

Oh, I really liked this walk. Very romantic and from the heart. Really enjoyed it and hope to read more of your work. I still believe this path exists. Thanks ![]() |

"I bathe beneath your smile as "I love you" falls from your mouth I catch it on my tongue savoring your taste" ~ Kris, those lines were incredibly intimate ~ and ROMANTIC. I do so enjoy your creative expressions of love! You have a style that is uniquely yours ~ and I love it! What a lover-ly poem! Happiness looks good on you! Loving hug, Linda ![]() |
