When Balladeer was ten years old He thought he had it made, He'd finally completed Three years in second grade. His life was always kind of sad, (His weight-his looks and clothes), Last one picked on baseball teams And first to pick his nose. When he turned twelve a child was born, Toerag was his name, A unique baby boy he was Just a tad insane Now Toe grew up quite popular, A boy with looks and charm, Cared for those less fortunate, Protecting them from harm. When Toe turned twelve and graduated, From Harvard way back east, He heard of Balladeer the scorned, Whom everyone had teased. 'Deer was bussing tables, At "Al Sharpton's House of Soul," Making less than legal wage, And had no place to go. Toe took Balladeer, Beneath his caring wing, Taught him to write poetry, Play guitar and sing. He soon became an expert, Sang at church and then on stage, He wrote a book of poetry, With delight on every page. Toe got him on a talent show, "She-Bangs" the song he'd sung, He didn't make the final eight, His stage name's William Hung. (No, his name doesn't indicate anything physical about him). |

Toe, this is your comedic writing at its finest! I darn near swallowed my tonsils with this one!  Your closing remark was rip-roarin' hysterical! Balladeer must be so proud that his baby Toe grew up to be such a fine big one! You've done him proud ~ 'toe' be sure!   Linda |

Sadly, Linda, that IS the finest example of Toerag's writing (which is like telling a 10 year old who got 2 questions right on a 100 question test)"Wow, that's the best you've ever done!" Toerag? Harvard? The two shouldn't even be in the same country! Say what you want, Toeman....I think we BOTH would like to have his money!!!  |
