Persona and Substance I enjoy watching Senator Barack Obama speaking. He has a smooth delivery system when compared to President George Bush. Bush reminds me of the speakers in College that didn't quite know what to say unless they were reading the words from a paper in front of them. Substance wise I'm not sure how Senator Obama stands on issues that are important to voters. His views on those issues will be more clearly revealed as his campaign progresses. As for President Bush I agreed with him that we had to pursue bin Laden into Afghanistan, but as of today, bin Laden is still on the loose, and the failures in Iraq continue to cook Bush's goose. a very political one. I am not sure that American is ready for a non-white or a non-man--president yet. I give my best wish to Obama...a fresh air. nice poem. |

Thanks for responding Drauntz... I seriously doubt that I would vote for Obama...I believe that he is good for the Democratic Party, a fresh face on the scene to stir up excitement, but much too inexperienced to be considered a viable candidate...Bush had his opportunity and in my opinion failed miserably, by abandoning the chastening of bin Laden, to shift his focus to Saddam. Reminds me much of the major blunder that Hitler made while failing in Great Britian, he turned his focus upon Russia...a decision that greatly helping Great Britian and its allies, but badly hurt Hitler, and in fact he never recovered from this blunder...James |
