.

A picnic for two
Beneath the summer leaves

There’s wine and cheese
Whose names
We’ve just begun to learn
Fresh rye bread
From a bakery just down the road

All the sparrows
Seem to have gotten the word
There’s nothing for her
He wouldn’t do

Sharing the food
With such persistent
Little tattletales

If only
They’ll keep that secret
To themselves

.

a little poem of great romance.
how lovely the picture is. those little sparrows add lots of laughters in life.

you always have a way to say everything in a very calm tune.

enjoyed and enjoyed

truly a lovely poem

So peaceful -- but I think those tattling birds live in my yard too.

Thank you for the lovely poem.

I think it's way past time for a scene like this in my life
