Meeting Angels

Meeting My Angel

At the time I was wondering
why I liked her so much.
Was it her personality,
was it some physical feature,
such as her ears (wonderful)
her eyes, her nose, her perfect
teeth, her smile, her voice,
the allure of her sensuality.
If I speak of today,
this very moment,
I enjoy all of those things,
but going back to that beginning
I remember admiring her ponytail,
the sweetness of her voice,
the sensual shape of her ears,
the softness of her skin,
and the expressions she made
as she talked to me.
Most importantly, I noticed
that she didn't smoke nor drink.
With all of these thoughts in mind,
I decided that I may have
just met my angel.
