Captured in the palm of hand, buried in the center of my heart, released with love strand by strand, within my soul remained one part. The wings were spread to fly, upon winds unkown, uncharted, tears flowed from my eyes, as the love of life departed. There was no meaning to time, clocks ticked without sound, poems were written without rhyme, and my world became unwound. Thinking all has been lost, despair sets in, breath removed, Could I afford such a cost?, my mind was behooved. Then time becomes your friend, softly upon your shoulder, once again the butterfly will land, The fire within my heart smoldered. If you love something, someone, set it free to be, if it truely loves you, it will fly back to where it belongs, For true love was meant to be, from where it was first conceived, written, burned, upon two hearts, a life, a dance, a song.
