Fragile Is The Heart chance, you charm me and with one finger swirl my sky stirring clouds to change space as I watch them on my back so intricate is tender with touch smooth as rain I drink you up with a thirst from many denied there are things you can not speak out loud but turn to whispers that are carried on the back of the wind I hear them in the near distance as clearly as if they were right beside me like old dime store chimes thin painted blades of glass tied tightly to silk red string day light’s voice of twinkle a sound in present past in peaceful recognize slowly filling these places of hollow touching the edge of me “but I'm so hard to handle I'm selfish and I'm sad”…Joni Mitchell [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (05-19-2007 08:30 PM).] |
